Pellatt Newsreel:The Man Who Built Casa Loma
Narrated by Colin Mochrie (This Hour Has 22 Minutes, Whose Line is it Anyway), this new 22-minute docudrama is styled as a 1939 newsreel tracing the arc of Sir Henry Pellatt's life. From his roots as an enterprising stockbroker to his ascent to the heights of the Canadian establishment, Pellatt Newsreel is a story of unbridled optimism and entrepreneurial high stakes. The film is produced by Lush Art & Entertainment.

Hours of Operation:
Casa Loma is open daily, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Groups will be admitted until 3:45 p.m. Groups arriving at this time may encounter function setups on the Main Floor.
Closures are as follows:
- December 24 (Christmas Eve) at 1:00 p.m.
- December 25 (Christmas Day)
2008 Group Rates
- Adult (18-59 years) $10.75
- Senior (60 + years) $8.00
- Youth (14-17 years) $8.00
- Child (up to 13 years) $5.50
- Group price for Adult, Senior and Youth includes fixed charges for use of an audio guide and viewing of the Pellatt documentary. Audio guide and Pellatt film not included with Group Child price - available for a surcharge of $1.00 each. Valid to September 30th, 2008
Effective January 7, 2008 there will be a $1.00 per person Capital Improvement Surcharge for Adults, Youth and Seniors and $0.50 for Children that will be dedicated to the restoration of the interior, decor and furnishings, and exhibits of Casa Loma.
Group Policies:
- Reservations- Required a minimum of 3 business days in advance. For special events, reserving early is recommended.
- Payment- Cash, Company Cheque or Credit
Card (Amex, Mastercard, Visa) upon arrival.
- Comp Policy- One escort and driver per coach.
- Schools: Chaperone 1 Comp.per 8 for Grades JK-6, 1 Comp. per 10 for Grades
7 - 9, 1 Comp. per 15 for Grades 10 - OAC.
